Combine this oldie, but goodie, with the overtly racist behavior of the attendees at the Palin events and you see who the real Republican “base” is (one attendee told a black security guard, “sit down, boy!” as another responded “kill him!” when Palin mentioned Obama’s name).

And they show no signs of stopping, either. They’re just ramping up the hate machine and aiming it at Obama. They think this isn’t an election of issues but an election of fear, just like they made ’04 into.

It’s remarkably disgusting. Thank God it’s backfiring.
